< name >
Dusk
< gender >
Male.
< age >
10 years old.
< alliance >
He has pledge his allegiance to the sun; he even dreams of becoming part of the Celestial Army when he becomes of age.
< home >
He lives in the Celestial Plain with the other Celestial children.
< friends >
Dusk is quite popular with the children. His father often calls him the "ring leader" because he likes to be in charge of adventures and sets up plans to explore with the others.
< parents >
Marco;; father;; merchant;; alive
Azumi;; mother;; house wife;; deceased
< siblings >
Luckily, Dusk is an only child so that means he doesn't have to share anything with a little brother or sister, though at times he does long for the company.
< description >
To match his personality, Dusk must have a wild or different appearance. From the way he dresses to the way he styles his hair is not of typical Celestial fashion. The young ten-year-old is tall and lengthy, his limbs very long yet they are developing muscles which will become useful if he wants to be a part of the Celestial Army when he gets older. His eyes are a pale green with flecks of gray and they give away all of his emotions or dastardly ideas that would get him into trouble and could possibly sway a young girl into liking him as he is in the flirtation stage of his life. He often has this adventerous air that hovers around him and though his smooth skin is knicked here and there by scars, he has a beautiful complexion that makes him appear innocent. Dusk is known for his height, eyes, and also his hair that he refuses to cut or style and it has a mind of its own, taking on a mohawk persona. It is hard to find clothes for this kid that even stay clean because of how much he explores and play fights with his wooden sword so he often wears clothes that are a size too big because they can resist his playful force.
< hair color >
Like most other Celestials, Dusk has that typical blond hair, however his appears to be a shade darker, more of a dirty blond if anything. It is short like his father's with the usual two wings on either side of his head, but instead of slicking back in the middle, it has more volume, making it appear in a spiky, mohawk fashion. It gives him a wilder appearance than other Celestials, but he will not change it nor allow his father to cut it.
< skin color >
Of course, he has the typical skin color. Not too pale, not too dark; it's just right his tastes. But he does have that glow of youth that most adult Celestials would be envious of.
< eye color >
Dusk has his mother's pale green eyes, which have a hint of smokey gray in them from his father. It is a beautiful blend of color, seeming to swirl and spiral into his soul for they can easily tell what he is feeling or what thoughts may be running through his head by the way the glow and shine. However, being the child he is, Dusk does cry from time to time and that is when his eyes become extremely red from all the tears that he had shed.
< height >
Though his father was a relatively short and stout man, Dusk gains his height from his mother. He is tall for a boy his age, standing a head above most mortal ten-year-olds.The sad part about this is that he may clear his own father's height in a year or two.
< weight >
Many would expect this young boy to follow in his father's footsteps and be on the rather chunky side, but Dusk is rather slim and muscular for a ten-year-old for he is always running off the energy from the food he eats when he explores. So he weighs about the same as a ten-year-old mortal boy that has the same vigor he does.
< personality >
Dusk is the kind of kid that enjoys to get his hands dirty, willing to have fun all hours of the day if he could. He enjoys exploring the Celestial Plain with his friends, often being the leader of his little group of friends. He is brave and intelliegent, using his quick tongue to get himself out of trouble, or deeper into it. He has a strong sense of what is right or wrong, but with enough pressure, his views on things can be changed. He is very confident of himself, never doubting himself and always chasing after his dreams like his mother told him to do. He enjoys a good challenge as well, whether it be at milk chugging or sword fighting, he's got it covered with a positive attitude, always wanting to come out on top.
Some can also say that Dusk runs on his heart, letting it lead him throughout all of his problems, so it is not hard for him to express his emotions to anyone. He is willing to open up to anyone that has the time to spare listening to a child's sob stories. Additionally, Dusk is known as a young Romeo, so he does try to impress girls from time to time and many women warn their young girls to stay away from him because he is a sweet talker like his merchant father. But one trait that everyone does admire about this young boy is that he is very loyal and sticks to his word. He tries his best not to lie and does his best to influence others to be the best that they can be.

< history >
Being as young as he is, Dusk does not have much a history yet, but he wishes to change it and create memories that would help him forget about the death of his mother.
Born ten years ago, Dusk grew up in the typical Celestial household, two loving parents, his own room, a home in an area of which he was free to roam, basically an environment that any child would enjoy. However, his father, Marco the merchant was not home as often as everyone else's fathers, for he had to travel far and wide to sell his goods, so more than often, Dusk would be alone at home with his mother, Azumi. This little factor would turn a loving situation into one that would scar a young boy for life.
During one of those weeks that Marco was out doing business, Dusk, who was only six years old at the time, was walking home with his mother from Celestial school, talking about their day with one another. "Mother... I don't like math at all! It's too hard!" Dusk moaned, his little brows furrowed in frustration, holding up a sheet of paper where there was a multitude of red scribbles strewn across it. "Oh dear... What's this?" Azumi said with a light gasp, taking the paper from her son. "It's a fail!" Dusk cried, his eyes flooding with tears and he stood still on the path, his hands clutched into tiny fists. "It's okay, son. You'll get better. There's always time for improvement in this life. But don't let this stop you my son." Azumi said softly, crouching down in front of Dusk, gently taking his hands in her own. "B-But... I failed. I-I won't get anywhere in life like th-this." Dusk sniffled, tears slipping down his cheeks. "Why say that my dear?" Azumi cooed, looking into her son's eyes with gray pearls.
"T-The other kids p-passed on their tests... They teased me. T-They said I'm a loser and losers d-don't go anywhere in life!" Dusk mumbled, biting his lip to stop himself from crying. Azumi let a gentle smile play across her lips. "Dusk, listen to me, okay? You can be anything that you want to be in life. You just have to put your heart and mind into it. What do you want to be when you grow up, my son?" she asked the young boy, running one of her hands across his cheeks to wipe away the tears. Dusk couldn't help but let a tiny smile spread across his face as he said proudly, "A Celestial Soldier." Azumi giggled at this and asked, "You sound so confident. You don't want to become a merchant like your father?"
Dusk shook his head, his tears long forgotten now. "No!" he said, though his voice was broken by laughter. Azumi laughed as well, gently opening one of Dusk's hand and placing the paper in his palm. "Well to become a good solider, you must be smart when it comes to math. Now how about we get home and I'll help you study for the retest?" his mother offered as she stood up. Dusk nodded eagerly, taking his mother's hand with his free one. "Thanks mother." he replied, happy to recieve the help and continued on home. But something caught his attention from the corner of his eye. Something shifted in the distance. "What was that?" he breathed, his question more of a startled whisper than anything. "What was what?" Azumi asked, rather puzzled by her son's question. "I-I saw something move." Dusk said, trying to stop his mother by tugging on her hand. "I'm sure it was nothing, son. Come on now, so I can get supper started." she replied, opening the door, but something hit her and Dusk hard, sending them onto the floor.
Dusk was pinned beneath his mother's protective hold, her face nestled in his chest while she whimpered in pain and something tore at her back. His eyes were wide with shock and confusion as he watched this dark, shadowy creature attack his mother and no one was around to help. He screamed, trying to kick at the beast from around his mother, but he was no help at all. Azumi reached a bloodied hand for the house door, barely pushing it open with her finger tips. "S-Son... g-go hide, please! Mother can t-take care of this..." her broken voice whispered as she lifted her weight from Dusk's body and shoved him towards the door, all the while keeping the monster on her back. Dusk wanted to help her, but he was only six. Obeying his mother, he crawled through the door, closing it behind him.
He ran to his room, hot tears blazing down his cheeks once more. "M-Mother!" he cried, as he threw himself beneath his bed to hide. He trembled in fright as the sounds of struggle outside of the house began to fade. Though all was silent in the house, Dusk remained in hiding for several days, the shock of his mother's struggle imprinting his every thought. It wasn't until teachers at his school realized that he was not showing up and they decided to investigate, and to also contact his father.
Marco and several other Celestial adults appeared at one time, though the memory remains as a cloudy blur for Dusk because he did not eat, drink, nor sleep. He was in bad condition and wasn't stable until his father gave up traveling for a year, nursing the young boy back to stable mental and physical health. Dusk never did pass that math test....
But now that time has passed, Dusk has vowed to never let another person be hurt by a monster as long as he is around, that is why he is even more inspired to become a Celestial soldier because Marco would not purchase him a real sword and instead crafted him a wooden sword to practice with. Dusk has become more out going, trying to learn how to never fear a thing in life and reflect on the past so that he'll become a better person, just like the one his mother wanted him to be.
