Suzume is definitely a lady of high standards and power, as her dress and occupation dictates. She is a normal sized woman, of typical height, but of exceptional beauty and intelligence. She has very gentle hands and a caring personality that allows her to be an exceptional healer that most people desire for any illness that may come upon them, such as stomach aches or full blown colds and broken bones.
..:: hair color ::..
Suzume's hair is jet black in color, a dark shade that is very suiting for a woman that looks like her. It is a lush, shiny, and glossy color and very long, meaning that it takes a lot of tending to.
..:: skin color ::..
Her skin is a very light brown color, as if she has a constant sun tan that never fades. It is a nice soft color that announces her features more prominently.
..:: skin color ::..
Her eyes are a deep red, a color that has been passed on from her family's blood line for years, and now she and her daugher are the carrier's of that trait. They are very beautiful, shimmering like rubies in the sun or candlelight, and offer a mysterious glow in the pale moonlight.
..:: height ::..
Suzume has never been on the tall side, but can be described as being of a typical height that most women are. She doesn't like to appear bigger than other people after all, so her height suits her very well.
..:: weight ::..
She is a very thin women, not carrying much weight on her, but that does not mean she is anorexic either. It's just the fact that she is a healer and prizes on good health, that means no excess of sweets, always watching what she and her daughter eats, etc., etc..
..:: clothing ::..
Whilst being one of Sei-an City's prized healers, Suzume is lavished with money and support, so Yukiko and herself rarely dress just like the common healers do, so they are often the source of envy amongst the healer society. She dresses in fine silk robes and leather belts, sometimes even in precious furs that the aristocrats pass on to them. To put it simply, Suzume and her daughter do not have a shortage of clothing.
..:: piercings ::..
Suzume simply has her ears pierced, a basic procedure done on most children several days after birth.
..:: jewelery ::..
Though Suzume does not like to flaunt her wealth, she can't help but show off the few pieces of jewelery that she holds dear to her heart, such as her wedding ring and a head dress that represents her position as the head healer of Sei-an City.
..:: personality ::..
Suzume is a very caring woman and that is only intensified by the fact that she is a mother and a healer of which an entire city relies on. She has grown to become a very patient person, always listening and waiting for the appropriate time to speak, and to be very cautious in certain situations that may cause harm upon herself. She is loyal to the gods and goddesses, always praying to them for the hopeful improvement of health of the patients she tends to, as well as the watching over of her deceased husband. She does not tend to reflect on the past as she has to look forward for a brighter future, ensuring that her daughter has the best in life. She is very wise when it comes to the ways of the herbs, of how, when, and where they grow, what they are used for and how to tend to any illness. Suzume rarely raises her voice and even if she did, it would sound too gentle to cause any harm or startling of anyone around her. She knows how not to get too attached to her patients but can be there for them if they manage to pull through in the long run, offering her assitance in the future if need be.

..:: history ::..
Suzume was a child of Kamiki Village long ago, or at least, till she was ten years old, when her parents used to farm and grow crops for the royal family that resided in the palace of Sei-an City. She remembered how she enjoyed the warm sunlight playing over her cheeks on a summer day and how good it felt to splash in the crisp, clear river that ran through the village, but it changed once her parents finally moved up from being lowly farmers to chefs that were invited to cook in the palace.
Suzume felt like she was robbed of her childhood, but she could not fight against her parents' word, as she was just a child. So she lived in Sei-an City, in a poorly built house, where the floor was dirt and plants managed to find their way through the cracks in the walls. Suzume was fascinated with these plants as moving to the city caused her to become very sick, it was such a strange move for her. So she rarely went outside, but when she did, she spent most of her time fiddling away with cherry blossoms or wild grasses that grew in the city. She also began to experiment with what those simple wild plants could do for a human's health as she was fascinated how the healers came to her house, creating teas and medicines out of fresh herbs so that she could get better.
Suzume had found her career and once she got better, she began to shadow the healers of Sei-an City, learning the tricks of the trade. It wasn't that difficult for her, she seemed to have a knack for this kind of thing. Soon she began to surpass even the wisest of healers, knowing the multiple uses of herbs backwards and forwards. All she needed to do was apply them to real life.
Once she hit fifteen, she worked with the healers officially, tending to patients of all sorts of cases. However, at this time, the city was hit with a flu epidemic that claimed many lives, including those of her parents. Suzume was lost for a long period of time, exactly three years, she couldn't focus on her work as she wondered why none of the healers could not save her parents. From that point on she vowed to do her best to save the lives of all the patients she came in contact with.
But she did not intend to fall in love with one of her patients. Hoshi, was his name and he was one of the guards of the royal palace and he had to visit the healers due to a hay fever that he was suffering from. Suzume was the one that tended to him, and instantly things sparked from there. Not long from then were the two married, well, after Hoshi was feeling better, and by the time she was twenty, she was expecting a child, Yukiko. However, Suzume's suffering was not at its end just yet.
Hoshi was the next to disappear from her life as he defended the palace bravely from a monster attack, but ended up dying from massive blood loss to a gash on his chest and leg. Suzume was devastated but could not stay depressed for so long. She had to think of the baby, which could come at any day. Her life turned around and got better two weeks after the death of Hoshi, as Yukiko was born. Suzume proved to be a wonderful mother as she tended to her daughter's every need, never leaving her side for more than necessary.
A year after leaving her healer role for maternity leave, Suzume returned to her title of Sei-an City's best healer with ease, tending to anyone that wounded or felt ill, keeping her child close at hand, never wanting to lose her too. Now she still resides in Sei-an City, spoiling the child from time to time because of her wealth, but she does not abandon her duty for a life of leisure.
